The Brazoria Volunteer Fire Department (BVFD) provides fire protection and emergency rescue services to the City of Brazoria and surrounding communities in southern Brazoria County.
They are a community outside of Brazoria and West Columbia, Texas. Their dedicated volunteers are here for the community, and those in need. WPVFD provides fire and rescue services to Wild Peach and surrounding areas of Brazoria County.
Several buildings are available for rentals for various venues:
The Lloyd E. Thomas Gymnasium is available for large events such as weddings and banquets. Seating and tables included for 300 people.
The Conference Center which is a building for meetings, showers, and other similar events, seats up to 100 people and includes a full kitchen area.
The Cafeteria is available for other rentals and has seating for up to 80 people.
The Theater in the 1933 Building is available for conferences, entertainment, memorials, etc. It seats 465 people and has a large video screen with video projector and lighting and sound system.

The American Legion hall is located in Brazoria, it is available to rent for events for up to 100 people.

Brazoria County Head Start Early Learning Schools, Inc., is a comprehensive birth-to-five Early Childhood Program, exists to provide case management and school readiness for families and children to foster family self-sufficiency and family stability while simultaneously ensuring social, emotional, cognitive, physical and moral mastery for each child.
