Mrs. Melissa Ebner
This year, the Brazoria Chamber’s honor of Woman of the Year is being given to a strong, hardworking and Jesus filled woman that tends to stay clear of the spotlight. She has been chosen by her peers to be given this honor, so she is truly recognized for all she does for her city, chamber, and community.
She was raised in Brazoria for most of her childhood and still calls it home. She met her husband in her late teens and married him in 2004. She attended nursing school and has worked in various roles related to the medical field. Over that time, she has been blessed with four children.
She now lives in Brazoria with her family and works on getting Brazoria familiar with the new digital age. Through multiple media projects, including a digital magazine for the Chamber of Commerce, The Brazoria Herald: This woman has been able to help numerous businesses in her efforts. She is strong-willed, passionate, and strives to point everyone she encounters to her Lord and Savior, who is her strength and reason for all she does.
She is a true asset to our community and doesn’t like any recognition, but Ashley couldn’t do half of what she does without her.
